Konu özeti

On yıl süren zahmetli bir çalışmadan sonra, romancı Karen Eiffel, en iyi kitabını tamamlamak üzeredir. Önündeki tek sorun, ana karakteri Harold Crick’i nasıl öldüreceğini bulmaktır. Yazar, Harold Crick’in gerçekte yaşadığını ve sözcükleri yazdığı anda olayları yaşadığını bilmemektedir. Şaşkına dönen Harold, yazarın aklındakileri duyup romanın (ve kendi) sonunu değiştirmesi gerektiğini anlar.
