Konu özeti
1970'lerin ortasında, güzellikleriyle komşu oğlanları kendilerine aşık eden beş yeniyetme kız kardeş olan Lisbon kızları, Michigan'ın durgun bir mahallesinde yaşarlar. Aşırı koruyucu anne ve babaları (James Woods ve Kathleen Turner) yüzünden tecrit içinde yaşayan kızlar, banliyö manzaralarının üzerinde süzülen ışıltılı ve ulaşılmaz düşler gibidirler. Ancak okulun en yakışıklısı Trip Fontaine (Josh Hartnett), Lux Lisbon'ı (Kirsten Dunst) ve kız kardeşlerini mezuniyet balosuna gitmeye ikna edince, oğlanların romantik fantezileri bir anda gerçekleşmenin eşiğine gelir – ta ki hayatlarını sonsuza dek değiştirecek bir olaylar zincirinin içine çekilinceye kadar.

A very different movie, enjoyable and engrossing but at the end of it you are left wondering what the point was. Is there a moral here? A life lesson? Or is the movie just telling a quirky story? I'm still not sure. This movie is well acted and is never boring, but it is puzzling.
