Konu özeti
Sorunların bir türlü azalmak bilmediği, aksine alevlenerek artış gösterdiği bir aileyi merceğine alan filmin başrollerinde parçalarına ayrılmış bir aile bulunuyor. Alkol problemleri nedeniyle sahip olduğu maddi-manevi her şeyi kaybeden bir çiftlik sahibi, yıllar önce oğlunu kaybederek büyük bir acı yaşamıştır. Bu şoku bir türlü atlatamayan talihsiz baba, oğlunun ölümünden gelinini sorumlu tutmuş; bu nedenle de yıllarca onunla ve torunuyla görüşmeyi reddetmiştir. Bu süreçte kendine kızmayı ve kendine küsmeyi de ihmal etmeyen baba, yıllar sonra geçmişi tartıp geleceği değiştirmek aşamasındadır.

I enjoyed watching this movie. It has the high quality I would expect from the director of What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, another movie that relies on a solid story and good acting to carry it through.
