Konu özeti

Geçirdiği ağır bir kalp krizi sonrası, doktorların tüm karşı çıkışlarına rağmen hastaneyi terk eden Avukat Sir Wilfrid Robarts evine döner. Henüz ilk günden davalar kapısına yığılmıştır. Fakat bunlar arasında bir cinayet davası vardır ki, adeta Robarts’ı yeniden hayata döndürür. Leonard Vole adındaki bir adam, yaşlı bir kadını öldürmekle suçlanmaktadır.
