Konu özeti
Nathan Gardner ve ailesi, şehirden uzak kırsal bir alana taşınarak sakin bir yaşam kurmaya çalışırlar. Ancak evlerinin yakınına gizemli bir meteor düşer. Bu meteor, çevresine garip bir morumsu renk ve radyasyon yaymaya başlar. Bu "renk", zamanla toprağı, suyu ve yaşamı dönüştürmeye başlar; bitkiler, hayvanlar ve nihayetinde aile bireyleri üzerinde çarpıtıcı, akıl almaz etkiler yaratır. Aile yavaş yavaş doğaüstü bir gücün etkisine girerken, hem fiziksel hem psikolojik çöküş yaşar. Gerçeklik algısı bozulur, zaman ve mekân kavramı kaybolur. Film, kozmik korku temasını derinlemesine işlerken, bilinmeyen ve tarif edilemez bir varlığın yavaş yavaş insan yaşamını nasıl tükettiğini gösterir.

_Colour Out of Space_ was one of the biggest joys that 2019 cinema brought me. I was genuinely thrilled by it from about fifteen minutes in right up until the credits rolled. Not to mention for several days afterwards. _Final rating:★★★★ - Very strong appeal. A personal favourite._
