Konu özeti
Artık 40'lı yaşlarına gelmiş olan Bridget Jones'un hayatında uzun bir aradan sonra her şey nispeten yolundaymış gibi görünmektedir. Mark Darcy'den ayrıldıktan sonra kendini işine adamış, başka birşeye kafayı çok takmadan çalışmaktadır. Belki de yıllar sonra ilk kez hayatının mutlak kontrolünü eline geçirmiştir. Ancak bu durum, Darcy'nin 180 derece tersi bir karakterdeki Amerikalı Jack Qwant ile tanışana dek sürecektir. Amerikalı'dan etkilenen, ancak Darcy'den de tamamen vazgeçemeyen Jones'un hayatı, hamile olduğunu öğrenmesiyle bambaşka bir seyre girer. Tabii bir sorun daha vardır, bebeğin babasının bu iki adamın hangisinden olduğundan emin değildir.
